Reports from our correspondents indicate that accreditation and voting are taking place simultaneously with the aid of the BVAS technology, while priority is being given to persons with disabilities, the elderly, pregnant women and nursing mothers.
From Ilawe Ekiti in Ekiti South Senatorial District comes a report that voting commenced at about 8:40 this morning at Polling Unit 12, Onile Owo/Sajowa Compound, Primary Health Centre, Ward Five.
The accreditation and voting process was said to be seamless, taking less than two minutes per voter, while security personnel were on hand to ensure order throughout the exercise.
