Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, has made his first appointments following his inauguration for a second term in office, retaining three key officials in his administration.
The reappointed officials are Professor Habibat Adubiaro as Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mr Oyeniyi Adebayo as Chief of Staff to the Governor and Mr Olayinka Oyebode as Chief Press Secretary (CPS).
The appointments were announced on Friday, October 16, 2026, shortly after Governor Oyebanji and his deputy, Chief (Mrs) Monisade Christianah Afuye, were inaugurated for another term in office in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital.
A statement signed by Oyebode, who was also reappointed as Chief Press Secretary, said the appointments take immediate effect.
