PFN VICE PRESIDENT , BISHOP ADELAKUN VISITS EKITI TO STRENGTHEN CHURCH, FELLOWSHIP

The Vice President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Bishop Taiwo Victor Adelakun, has described his visit to Ekiti State as an avenue to strengthen the Church and the fellowship in the state.

Bishop Adelakun stated this in Ado-Ekiti during his official visit, noting that the assignment before men of God is a serious one that requires commitment, dedication and concerted efforts.

The PFN Vice President stressed the need for Christians to remain committed to the work of God, noting that there are important spiritual requirements for effective Christian service and ministry.

According to him, Christians need two major pillars fire and power to succeed in God’s work. He explained that spiritual fire is necessary for passion and dedication, while divine power enables believers to overcome challenges in service to God.

Earlier in his welcome address, the Chairman of the PFN, Ekiti State Chapter, Bishop Kayo-Ajayi Kolade, welcomed the Vice President to the state, noting that the Church in Nigeria is in a season that demands spiritual maturity, unity, courage, prayer and purposeful leadership.

Bishop Kolade expressed optimism that the visit would strengthen, encourage and refresh pastors in the state and produce lasting fruits for the advancement of God’s Kingdom in Ekiti and the entire South-West region.

Leaders and members of the PFN had earlier received the Vice President and his entourage in Iyin-Ekiti as a mark of honour.

The programme continues tomorrow with the consecration of bishops.
