OYEBANJI URGES POLITICAL HOLDERS TO PRIORTISE NEED OF THE PEOPLE

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji has called on political office holders to always listen to the people and give priority to their needs, saying such will earn them another opportunity to lead.

The Governor who stated this in Ado Ekiti while inaugurating five-thousand-person-to-person canvassers for his and president Bola Tinubu re-election powered by office of the State community communications confirmed that his administration was able to perform excellenttly due to help and contributions of the president.

He therefore charged all the canvassers to ensure that the state deliver massive votes for president Tinubu during the next year election and advised them to be peaceful in the electioneering approaches.

In her address, Director General, Ekiti State community communications, Mrs Mary Oso-Omotosho noted, that the programme was put in place to canvass for the re-election of president Bola Tinubu and Governor Biodun Oyebanji second term in office, saying the step became imperative due to contributions of the duo to economic, human and infrastructure development.

On his own, the representative of non indigene in Ekiti State, Ochidoma of Idoma people Living in Ekiti State, Otache Oyigocho promised that all non indigenes in the State would come out in their large number to vote for Governor Oyebanji during the June 20th election and appreciated him for creating enabling environment for non indigenes to thrive.

Representatives of other groups who spoke at event including CAN Chairman in Ekiti State, Reverend Emmanuel Aribasoye and president league of Imams and Alfas in South West, Edo and Delta States, Sheik Jamiu kewulere at the programme highlighted the needs to return president Bola Tinubu and Governor Biodun Oyebanji for second term in order for Nigerians to continue enjoying more divedend of good governance.
