Kayode Ojo grieves over death of late Gbenga Aluko

A governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress APC, Engineer Kayode Ojo has expressed shock over the news of the death of a stalwart of APC and former lawmaker, Senator Gbenga Aluko.

The Ode Ekiti born politician was said to have died on Friday night after he was reportedly collapsed in his office in Abuja.

In a statement in Ado Ekiti by his Media and Publicity Director, Alhaji Deji Ayelabowo, Engineer Kayode Ojo described the sudden death of the former lawmaker as unfortunate saying, it is a great loss not only to his family but to the entire APC and Ekiti State in general.

He described Senator Aluko as a diligent and unassuming politician who had passion for the growth and development of Ekiti State.

Engineer Ojo affirmed that though death is inevitable, it breaks the heart when it picks loved ones at a time their lives were blossoming and when their expertise and services were needed most.

He prayed God to grant him eternal rest and charged the immediate family to take solace in the fact that Senator Aluko lived a fulfilled life.

The governorship aspirant prayed God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
