Read Your Bible Always, Cleric Charges Children

An eleven year old girl, Foluso Adegbehingbe of Jerusalem Church of the Lord International and Zion Babalola, an eight year old boy from Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, S/W Region 139, both in Ado-Ekiti have emerged winners of the Anointed Presenter Children Bible league (Season 4) in the Bible Quiz and Recitation categories.

Other runner-ups for the Bible Quiz category were Adeola Afolabi of End Time Revival Fire Mission, Ikere- Ekiti and Iyanu Oluwatoki of Assembly of prayer Anointed Ministry International, Basiri, Ado-Ekiti, while Jesuloba Inumidun and Oluwajuwonlo Alegbeleye both from End Time Revival Fire Mission, Ikere-Ekiti came second and third in the Bible Recitation category.

The programme which was aimed at instilling the act of Bible reading in Children, kicked off in first Saturday of May with a total number of 47 participants under the age of thirteen from various churches in Ekiti State including End Time Revival Fire Mission, Ikere- Ekiti; M.F.M S/W Region 139, Afao Road; Jerusalem Church of the Lord International; Assembly of Prayer Anointed Ministry, Basiri, C.A.C Olorunsogo DCC Basiri, Christ the Foundation Rock Ministry, Adehun, Zion Bible club, Ilokun; all in Ado-Ekiti, and lasted for three Saturdays.

Speaking at the grand finale of the competition, the Coordinator, Children Evangelism Ministry, Ekiti State chapter, Elder Amos Ayodele charged the children to always give priority to reading of the scriptures as it would guide them in their endeavours.

In his closing remark, the Convener of the competition, who is also a staff of progress FM, Mr. Caleb Obisesan, popularly called Anointed Presenter, appreciated God for the successes the programme had recorded since its inception in November 2019.

Mr. Caleb also commended all the participating Churches who took part in the fourth edition of the Bible League as well as everyone who contributed meaningful to its success with a call for more support and participation at subsequent editions.
