The parish priest of Saints George’s Catholic church,Omu Ekiti in Oye Local Government, Reverend Micheal Olofinlade abducted last Saturday has been released.
Confirming his release to Progress FM , the Owajumu of Omu, Oba Adeyeye Ogundeyi said his abductors released him along Itapaji Road.
Oba Ogundeyi said the priest is currently receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital.
Reverend Father Michael Olofinlade was kidnapped on Saturday between Itaji/ Ijelu Ekiti road while returning from a pastoral work in Ado Ekiti.
