House of Assembly Election : SDP Candidate Debunks Rumour of Stepping Down

The Candidate of the Social Democratic Party for Aiyekire/Gbonyin Constituency at the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Aare Olufemi Banjo son of the soil has debunked rumour going round that he has stepped down from Saturday’s poll.

In a statement in Agbado-Ekiti, Aare Banjo said some individuals have been sending text messages to voters in the constituency that he is no longer in the race.

He urged his supporters to ignore such messages, saying it did not emanate from him.

The SDP House of Assembly Candidate noted that he was working tirelessly to become victorious in the election, as he remained committed to the course of developing his constituency.

Aare Banjo however stated that he remained a contender in the Aiyekire/Gbonyin House of Assembly election, while expressing confidence that he would win the poll.
