Gunmen Abduct Chief Imam

The Chief Imam of Uso community in Owo local government area of Ondo State, Alhaji Ibrahim Bodunde Oyinlade has been allegedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen.

Radio Nigeria gathered that the Islamic Cleric was abducted at Asolo Farm Camp, Uso on Saturday.

Alhaji Ibrahim Oyinlade, aged 67, was abducted at Asolo Farm Camp, Uso on Saturday.

A family member confirmed that the suspected kidnappers had contacted the family of the 67year-old Chief Imam, but they are yet to demand for ransome as at the time of filing in this report.

When Contacted, the Spokesperson for the Ondo State Police Command, Mrs Funmi Odunlami confirmed that the case had been reported at the Uso Divisional Police station, adding that the DPO and his men with local vigilantes are currently in the bush to search for the Islamic cleric.
