The Federal Government has withdrawn the circular directing Pro Chancellors and Vice Chancellors of Federal Universities to reopen their institutions.
The withdrawer of the enforcement order is contained in a letter by the Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission NUC Prof Abubakar Rasheed.
The Letter signed by the Director Finance and Accounts Mr Sam Onazi on behalf of the Executive Secretary urges all pro chancellors and vice chancellors to note that further development and information would be communicated to relevant stakeholders.
The Federal Government earlier directed Pro chancellors and Vice chancellors of federal Universities to reopen following the ruling of the industrial court of Nigeria on September 21st last week
