Ekiti Community Builds Staff Quarters for Federal Teaching Hospital

The Igogo-Ekiti Community in Moba Local government area of the state has donated a new four bedroom Staff Quarters for the Federal Teaching Hospital Ido-Ekiti Annex clinic in the town.

The Traditional Ruler of the Community, Oba Sunday Adewumi while handling over the project said the gesture was to facilitate twenty-four hours imported healthcare services to the town and its environs.

The Monarch lauded the responsive spirit the sons and daughters of Igogo-Ekiti showed toward the actualization of the project.

Receiving the facility, the Chief Medical Director of the Hospital, Professor Adekunle Ajayi expressed gratitude to those who contributed in one way or the other towards the building of the staff quarters.

On his part, the Chairman, Primary Health Care Development Agency in Ekiti State, Chief Monisola Oloro commended the community for luring hands in quality healthcare delivery in the state.

In an interview, the Chairman of the building committee Ekiti State, Dr Kolawole Aina, appreciated the generous donations from all the indigenes of the community and urged the residents to make use of the clinic facilities.

While speaking, the Permanent Secretary Hospital Management Board Ekiti State, Dr William Afolabi and the Acting Chairman of Egbe Omo Igogo, Mr Oni Michael, noted that the project has become an example for other communities to emulate as part of their roles in supporting the efforts of the government.
