The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) have suspended their industrial action – over the temporary agreement between the Federal Government and the Organized Labour.
The TUC president Festus Osifo confirmed this in Abuja on Tuesday after a joint Extraordinary National Executive Council meeting of the unions said that the industrial action was suspended for just one week.
“A joint NEC meeting of TUC/NLC has approved to relax the industrial action for one week with immediate effect,” Osifo told journalists.
A communique will be issued shortly, the labour chief said
