…as senator Raji-Rasaki charges women on house to house campaign
The presidential ambition of the APC flagbearer, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and his running mate Kashim Shettima has received additional boost in Ekiti State.
This followed the inauguration of another group which is expected to move from door to doors to canvass votes for the candidates.
The group is known as Tinubu-Shettima Women Presidential Door to Door Campaign Team
Speaking at the Inauguration held in Ado Ekiti, Wife of Ekiti State Governor, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji commended the efforts of Senator Fatimah Raji-Rasaki who is the initiator of the programme and enjoined others to follow suit to ensure that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu wins the next month’s election.
Dr Olayemi described APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Tinubu as the best for the job in view of his experience and political will appealing to all party faithful and loyalists to continue praying and working for his success.
In his speech, the Chairman of the Tinubu/Shettima Women Presidential Door to Door Campaign Group, Senator Fatimah Raji-Rasaki called on electorate to vote for APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu during the February 25th Presidential Election.
She said the aim of the group is to go out and bring more people to the Tinubu fold ahead of the election.

explained that she had also made it an integral obligation to reach out to thousands of voters outside the APC card carrying members to solicit their support and by voting Tinubu/Shettima during the poll.
Senator Raji-Rasaki who represented Ekiti Central at the National Assembly said that women in Ekiti State would ensure that Nigeria is again govern by competent and qualified leader, like Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
According to her, “Parts of our strategic efforts are the door-to-door mobilisation train of the Presidential Women Campaign Council where I serve as Chairman, Operation and Logistics.
“We are doing all these to evangelise the message of renewed hope through sensitisation programme for millions of youths, men, women and religion bodies across the country. Under this sensitisation programme, we are recording huge acceptance and support for Asiwaju Tinubu and other APC candidates”
“Our activities are multi- dimensionally channelled towards ensuring that 2023 polls are not only credible, but the best in the history of our country”
“Having realized that the 2023 poll remains the most significant poll in the history of the country. It is our duty to ensure that mediocre candidates are not elected in place of those with prerequisite leadership qualities, and are genuinely committed to providing good governance and developmental services to the people”
She appealed to all and sundry to come together and vote Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the APC as the elected President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The Chairman, Operation and Logistics for APC presidential campaign described Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima as people-oriented, credible, accessible, respectful to rule of law, equity and God fearing, hence people should vote for them.
She called registered voters in Ekiti State and even across the country, who are yet to collect their Permanent Voters Cards, PVCs to go and get it at their various wards across the State.
She said INEC was worrisome that out of 988,923 registered voters in Ekiti, only 754,886 have collected their PVCs, while 234,037, representing 24 per cent, are yet to collect theirs.
“I believe that with our efforts and impacts so far and still ongoing, the outcome of 2023 elections will be favourable to the APC at all levels and will be recorded as most free, fair, credible and exceptional in history of Nigeria”
On his own, the Chairman of APC in Ekiti State, Mr Paul Omotoso commended women wing of the party on their efforts to ensure that presidential candidate of APC, Aiwaju Bola Tinubu comes out victorious during the next month election and urged them not to relent in such direction.
At the programme food items such as semovita, noodles among others were distributed to the women who were selected across the sixteen local governments of Ekiti State.
