EKSG Approves Construction of Another Flyover in Ado Ekiti.

Ekiti State Government has approved the construction of another flyover in the state capital, Ado Ekiti, as well as rehabilitation of a major road in the state.

Rising from the weekly State Executive Council meeting in Ado, the state government approved the construction of a flyover from Union Bank in Ijigbo to First Bank at Okeyinmi and the rehabilitation of the Ikere-Ise-Emure Road.

The latest approval is a manifestation of the commitment of the present administration to ensure that all roads in the state are motorable and well maintained.

The projects will also push the infrastructure development initiative of government, ease traffic flow, improve socio-economic activities of the areas while the second flyover will add beauty to the state capital.

According to government statement, the decision on the flyover was taken after a critical review of traffic volume and gridlock along the main Oja-Oba–Ijigbo–Ajilosun road.

The flyover project is expected to be completed within two years.
