The Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers Union (RATTAWU), Ekiti State Council congratulates the immediate past chairman of the union, Comrade Tayo Ayegbusi for emerging the Internal Auditor of Ekiti State Council of Nigerian Labour Congress.
At the NLC election conducted today 7th March 2023, the broadcaster with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) contested against other comrades who stepped down for him to emerge unopposed due to his integrity and experience as RATTAWU chairman for six years.
The union leader who was visibly excited after winning the election, thanked the current Chairman, Comrade Jasper Taiwo FALAE and the entire leadership of RATTAWU in Ekiti State for believing in him and promised not to let them down at the State Administrative Council of NLC.
Comrade Ayegbusi in his words said, “RATTAWU is known for standard and being elected to the State Council of the NLC after a very long period of time, I will make sure that RATTAWU plays a vital role at making this administration formidable and very supportive of the government of Ekiti State which will in turn bring good governance to the workers of Ekiti State.”
RATTAWU hasn’t been elected to the State Administrative Council of NLC in Ekiti State in almost two decades.
The incumbent Chairman of NLC in the State, Comrade Pharmacist Kolapo Olatunde was also elected for a second term, becoming the first to be so elected in the history of the twenty six years old state.
