YULETIDE: NAWOJ URGES MODERATE CELEBRATION IN COMPLIANCE TO COVID19 PROTOCOLS

As preparations unraveled towards Christmas celebrations, the Nigeria Association of women Journalists NAWOJ in Ekiti State has called on parents and children to celebrate the festival in modesty with total compliance to COVID19 preventive guidelines.

NAWOJ advised parents to shun wasteful spending and safe for rainy day more so as school resumes in two- week time .

Women journalists in a statement by the Chairperson , Mrs Fatima Bello and the Secretary , Mrs Adewumi Ademiju also urged parents to ensure safety of the children at home .

NAWOJ called on parents and children to ensure strict compliance to covid 19 preventive guidelines, wearing of nose masks , limited gatherings and social distancing even at gathering.

‘as Yuletide celebration commences, parents are also advised to spend moderately considering payment of school fees when children resume.

NAWOJ also called on parents to monitor the children/wards adequately with prompt guide and instructions for safety and to avoid unforeseen circumstances.

The Association wishes all ,Happy Christmas and New Year Celebrations in advance.
