A youth group, Nigeria youth Alliance has sent an open letter of appreciation to the executive governor of Ekiti state, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi for his giant stride in Education, infrastructures and for believing in youths.
A copy of the letter which was made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti also appreciated efforts of the Governor to reconstruct the economy of the state after the pandemic.
It reads “Let me convey our appreciation and gratitute to the Executive Governor of, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi for his positive transformation of the Ekiti State in terms of infrastructures, education, human development, youths empowerment, agriculture development programs.
“Also the economic reconstruction to solve the economic earthquake unleashed by covid-19 which would have put the state in economic recession is highly commendable.
“The initiation of various transformational infrastructural projects in our schools has further proved that Ekiti remains fountain of knowledge and the knowledge capital of Nigeria.
According to the youths. It is crystal clear that the state have competent, credible and patriotic youths like Hon. Makinde Araoye ( SSA to Ekiti State Government on Federal Matters ) and others who are brilliant, vibrant and love thier people in mind, heart and spirit in the state noting that majority of them have proven themselves adequately in leadership, knowledge and consciousness.
“Your Excellency sir, you have stood up for what is right by building young leaders that can pilot the affairs our dearest state. It is high time up the game more by giving us a creative, intellectual, vibrant and competent youth like Hon. Makinde Araoye who has proved his competence, charisma, leadership, political capacity and commitment to the Omoluabi tendencies you represent, to continue to build on your legacy of good governance.
“It will be very interesting and set a great precedence to see a young, vibrant and brilliant governor as your successor. This will set a new standard for political leadership in the country and become the template for other state to relinquish more political power to the youth. We want your good work to continue not only at the state level but at the federal level.
JKF, we know you as a courageous man, who can toe the less popular but right path, we believe you can do it. We also pray that God will take you to your political height and use you to rescue Nigeria.
