We Will Bring Governance To Ekiti People Through Feedback Mechanism-Oyebanji.

Ekiti state government is to establish an ombudsman office to serve as a feedback mechanism to ensure good governance.

Governor Biodun Oyebanji stated this in Ikole, Ode and Ado-Ekiti during the citizens engagement held in the three Senatorial districts of Ekiti state as part of preparations for next year’s budget.

The Governor said the idea would further bring governance closer to the people and enable government to feel their pulse to give back to the society.

He made it clear that the next year’s budget would not capture all the demands of the people, but gave assurance that the left over would be attended to in subsequent ones.

Mr. Oyebanji solicited the support of stakeholders to enable government achieve its six points agenda for the benefit of the people.

Representatives of various communities in their presentations requested for good roads, health care, security, provision of functional materials in schools, potable water among others.

They appealed to the state government to also put in place short term measures that would cushion the effects of economic hardship being faced by the people.
