Two Students of the Federal University, Oye Ekiti, FUOYE’ and one commercial motorcyclist were today feared dead along Ilupeju /Itapa Ekiti road in Oye Local Government Area of Ekiti State.
One of the lecturers who pleaded anonymity confirmed the incident to Radio Nigeria in Ado Ekiti.
According to the Lecturer, the victims were on a commercial motorcycle coming from Itapa Ekiti before they were crushed to death by the truck and died on the spot.
Two of the victims were said to be siblings.
The driver ran away with the truck, sensing that angry Students may kill him and as well set his truck ablaze
Some of the sympathisers at the scene urged motorists to always exercise patience while driving for their safety and those of other road users.
The victims have since been evacuated from the scene by officers of the FRSC.
Meanwhile, The FRSC sector Commander in Ekiti state, Mr Olusola Joseph could not be reached to get the details of the incident.
