A Royal Fatherr in Ado-odo/Ota Local Government area of Ogun State, Oba Abraham Bankole has been allegedly crushed to death by a truck along Ota- Idiroko expressway.
Oba Bankole, who was the Olu of Onibuku was killed by a truck while alighting from a tricycle, popularly known as keke Napep.
He was said to have died on the spot.
Confirming the incident to newsmen, the Sango-ota area commander of the state Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps, Mr Adekunle Ajibade blamed the incident on dangerous and reckless driving by the truck driver.
Mr Ajibade, who described the accident as avoidable, cautioned motorists against reckless driving.
He added that the corpse of the late Royal father had been deposited at the state hospital in Ota.
