A Security man guarding a supermarket located around an area known as Yemisi Elemu, Omisanjana, Ado Ekiti, has been allegedly killed by armed robbers.
According to reports, some armed robbers (number unknown) stormed the Supermarket in the early hours of Monday, the 4th of December, 2023, but apparently met a stiff resistance from the security man.
The robbers eventually overpowered the guard and killed him.
However, there was no sign that the robbers eventually gained access to the supermarket.
At dawn, the corpse of the security man was laid on the road and covered by a cloth.
As at the time of writing this story, the Landlords Association in the area was making efforts to contact the relevant authorities to evacuate the corpse of the man.
