Gunmen on a motorbike shot and killed a rice hawker at Bisi Market in Ado Ekiti on Thursday afternoon.
According to report, the victim, who has not been identified, was reportedly pushing a wheelbarrow when the assailants struck.
The shooting sent traders and passersby fleeing for their lives, with many too afraid to return to the market to carry on with their business.
