Tradition: Chief Charles Celebrates Coronation, Promises to Work for Oye Ekiti Growth

It is a common saying that before someone could be conferred with chieftaincy in a community, such person must be of a good character.

It was on that premise that sons and daughters of Oye Ekiti as well as well wishers joined Chief Charles Omoro to celebrate his coronation as the Oloni of Araromi Quarters Oye Ekiti.

Speaking at the event, the celebrant, Chief Charles Omoro said the new title would spur him to contribute to the growth of the community.

He pointed out that he would use his exposure and connection to influence development and facilitate social amenities to the town.

Chief Omoro called on indigenes of the community at home and abroad to remember their origin and contribute their quotas to it’s growth.

The celebrant also appreciated the Oloye of Oye Ekiti, for his continuous efforts at developing the town with prayer that God should preserve him to live long.
