Traders Escape Death in Iworoko as Truck Crashes Near Market

Iworoko Community in Irepodun/Ifelodun local government of Ekiti State was almost thrown into another mourning today after a lorry loaded with fish feed crashed near the town’s market.

This is one out of several incidence of such in the area where causalities were recorded.
Radio Nigeria correspondent who visited the scene reports that the lorry was coming from Ifaki axis when the driver lost control and rammed into the median close to the community market.

Though no life was lost, the vehicle was badly damaged while the road median and public utilities were affected.

The incident caused obstruction as motorist had to turned back to take one way.
Security agents were already at the spot to avoid looting of the materials and attack on the three person on board.

Speaking with newsmen, sympathizers lamented incessant crashed recorded in the area and called on government to address the causes.
