Tinubu, Governors mark Armed Forces Remembrance Day.

The 2024 Armed Forces Remembrance Day has been held across Nigeria with wreath-laying ceremonies conducted in Abuja and all the 36 states’ capitals.

In Abuja, President Bola Tinubu performed the wreath-laying ceremony at the National Arcade, Eagles Square, Abuja.

The event, held annually to remember Nigeria’s fallen heroes, also included prayers for the heroes and their families, gun salute and the release of pigeons, to symbolise peace.

All Service Chiefs, Senior political office holders, Federal Executive council members, senior civil servants, diplomatic corps and other dignitaries, were all at the ceremony.

Similarly, all Governors across the 36 states and other dignitaries, also performed various rites to mark the day.
