Also same day, the Supreme Court reserved judgement in the appeal filed by the PDP and its candidate in the March 2023 Governorship election in Ogun State, Ladi Adebutu against Governor Dapo Abiodun of the APC.

After hearing the appeal, the court, led by Justice John Okoro reserved judgement for a day that would be convenient for parties involved.

Adebutu is seeking nullification of the declaration of Abiodun as winner of the election.
