The Radio, Television, Theater and Arts Workers Union of Nigeria, RATTAWU, Ekiti State Council wants workers and the public to support the state government in the fight against the second wave of Covid-19.
In a statement, Chairman of the union, Mr. Jasper Falae and Secretary, Ayodele Ogunmilade enjoin citizens to continue to observe all the safety protocols against the spread of the virus.
They advised citizens to always follow all the media houses in the state and verified online platforms of the government for accurate information and instructions regarding preventive and management procedures of the virus.
On the issue of security, the union also admonished members of the public to always provide useful information to security agencies, whenever they notice any unusual developments.
The RATTAWU leaders however prayed for an end to the covid-19 pandemic and insecurity bedevilling the country.
