Following the death of staff of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN, Ibadan Zonal Station, Mrs Rebecca Jawo, the management of the Corporation has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late staff at Apata, Ibadan.
Addressing the family members, the Zonal Director, FRCN, Ibadan Zonal Station, Mrs Bolatito Joseph said it was disheartening that FRCN lost Rebecca Jawo whom she described as generous, intelligent, amiable and the producer of FRCN popular programme, “Tiwa Lara”.
Mrs Joseph said the visit was imperative in view of the roles played by the late staff.
Responding on behalf of the family, the father of late Rebecca Jawo, Mr Williams Ibodje, described the death of his daughter as painful and unfortunate.
Mr Ibodje who is a former Deputy Director of Administration, FRCN, Ibadan Zonal Station, appreciated the Management of the Corporation for the visit and prayed God to uphold everyone in the Corporation.
Aged 36, Rebecca Jawo who died two days ago during a brief illness and buried yesterday was survived by her parents, husband and a son, David.
