A former Deputy Director of News and Current Affairs, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN Ibadan, Mr Tunde Abiodun has, celebrated his 60th birthday in grand style amidst praises to God Almighty.
The colourful event which took place at his Ashipa residence of Ibadan was attended by friends, family members, veteran journalists, the FRCN family as well as associates of the celebrant.
Wife of the celebrant, Mrs Dupe Abiodun, described her husband as “a very caring father who is determined to raise intellectual children”
The General Manager, Positive FM Akure, Mrs Olubunmi Olalere and a retired Director of News, Elder Adenrele Ajisefinni, described the celebrant as a long time friend and highly intelligent man.
A former Deputy Director of News, Deacon Femi Oladipo advised the celebrant to always relax well, while an Assistant Director, News, Mrs Morenike Esan described Mr Abiodun as a diligent man and great event organiser.
Some friends and relations of the celebrant including inlaws said the celebrant always ready to assist people who come his way.
On his part, Mr Abiodun Popularly called ST who could not hide his joy, sang various praise and worship songs to appreciate God for making him fulfilled in life despite all odds.
The event had in attendance the current deputy Director News, FRCN Ibadan zonal station, Mr Adewumi Faniran and a former staff of FRCN who is now a legal practitioner, Mr Stephen James.
The celebrant who rose through rank of DDN in the Corporation, retired last year as Deputy Director News and Current Affairs, Radio Nigeria Ibadan Zonal Station after thirty five years of meritorious service.
