Spain has won the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup co-hosted by New Zealand and Australia.
In the final match decided today at stadium Australia, Spain defeated England one nil to lift the trophy for the first time.
The lone goal which gave Spain the victory was scored in the 29th minutes of the first half by Olga Carmana.
Sweden won the third place match yesterday after beating co-host Australia two goals to nothing.
