Society of Engineers Elects New Excos, Seeks More Collaborations with Government.

The Nigerian Society of Engineers,NSE, Ado Ekiti Branch has elected new executive members to steer the affairs of the organization for the two years.

Speaking during the swearing-in ceremony in Ado Ekiti, the Association’s National President, Engr. Mrs Margaret Oguntala who was represented by a National Executive Council member, Professor Olumide Ogundipe charged the new executive members to be committed to serving the association and its members.

Also speaking, the Chairman Board of Trustees, NSE Ado Ekiti branch, Professor Gbenga Aribisala praised the outgoing administration’s performance while urging the new executive members not to deviate from the purpose and objectives of the association.

In his address, the outgone chairman, Professor Oluwasegun Aluko who highlighted some of his administration’s achievements, including securing land and laying of foundation for the association’s central secretariat, thanked members for their support.

In her acceptance speech, the newly elected chairman, Engr. Mrs Omotola Alawode promised to work hard to fulfill the mandate given to them and synergize with the state government to uphold the mission and vision of the association.

The other executive members include, Engr Abiodun Ogunrinde, Vice Chairman, Engr. Dr. Helen Owoyemi, General Secretary and Engr Taiwo Falae, Ex-officio among others.
