A 74 year old woman on Thursday escaped death by whisker as a storey building where she was trading collapsed.
The incident occurred at Irona area of Ado Ekiti.
It was gathered that the woman was trapped but later rescued by some good Samaritans who took her to the nearby hospital.
In an interview, one of the witnesses Mr Ajayi Ola Omotayo said the building which was located at Irona Market, was an old structure abandoned for so long.
He said the woman was selling ingredients at the front of the old building when it suddenly caved
The dust from the rubble of the building attracted the attention of people around who came to rescue the victim.
