Management of Ekiti State University, Ado – Ekiti says all its students should complete registration for the first and second semesters of the 2019/2020 academic session without penalty on or before Monday, 31st May, 2021.
The Management also said registration with penalty must be concluded on or before Monday, 7th June, 2021.
This decision was reached at an interactive session held with the students of the university which was attended by members of the University’s Management and Senate as well as other stakeholders including the sub-Deans and Level Coordinators.
Students were represented by executive of Students’ Union Government, Executive members of different Students’ Associations at Faculties and Departmental levels as well as the Class Governors.
The Vice Chancellor of the Institution, Proffessor Edward Olanipekun said, that the University Portal would remain open for registration and revalidation exercise till 7th June, 2021 before it would be finally closed for registration.
He said all affected students should avail themselves of the opportunity to register within the stipulated time.
Professor Olanipekun called Parents and guardians to ensure that their wards pay all statutory fees and charges to enable them to register accordingly.
He therefore reiterated the University’s commitment to a stable academic calendar as approved by the University Senate, saying that the university would not elongate the 2019/2020 academic calendar further.
