Residents of Ado-Ekiti and members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God were thrown into mourning following the sudden death of Pastor Ogunjemilusi Odunayo, who passed away on the 2nd of July, 2025, after a brief illness. He was aged 43.
Born in 1982, Pastor Ogunjemilusi served faithfully as a minister of the gospel and was known for his humility, compassion, and dedication to the spiritual growth of others.
A funeral service was held at The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Bread of Life Parish, located at Tinuola Junction, Housing area, Ado-Ekiti.. and was attended by clergy, church leaders, and well-wishers who came to honour his memory.
Pastor Ogunjemilusi is survived by his wife and children, who, along with the congregation and sympathizers, expressed deep sorrow at the loss of a man many described as a true servant of God.
The Ogunjemilusi family has requested prayers and support during this difficult time.
