The death has occurred in lbadan, Oyo state,of a former Acting Zonal Director,Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria,FRCN,lbadan Zonal Station,Pastor Zacheous Oloruntola.
Pastor Oloruntola died on Friday September 1, 2023 at his Elebu Residence,lbadan during a brief illness at the age of 62.
The deceased who retired from FRCN three years ago after 35 years of merritorious service was renowned for his hardwork,diligence and humility.
Reacting to the news of his death, the Zonal Director, FRCN, Ibadan Zonal Station, Mr Dominic Mokhikan described the demise of pastor Zacheous Oloruntola as a huge loss to the entire Radio Nigeria family.
Mr Mokhikan noted that the death of Pastor Oloruntola when his services were mostly needed even in retirement was unfortunate.
The Zonal Director prayed God to grant the deceased eternal rest and the family the courage to bear the irreparable loss.

symphatisers mostly family friends,
former working associates and neighbours have continued to pay condolence visit to the house of late Pastor Oloruntola at Elebu in lbadan.
Radio Nigeria Correspondent reports that people were seen in groups discussing the demise of the man.
Two of the children of the deceased, Victor and Favour Oloruntola described their late father as a caring man who left legacy worthy of emulation for them.
Wife of the deceased,Dr Racheal Oloruntola described him as a father, mentor and spiritual leader for the family.
She noted that Pastor Oloruntola would be remembered for long as a man who distinguished himself serving humanity and God.
