The Presidency has approved a Sixty percent reduction in the official entourage on local and International trips for the President, Vice-President, First Lady, wife of the Vice-President, among others.
Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale revealed this while addressing newsmen at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Ngelale said apart from those listed, the directive also affected Ministries, Parastatals and Agencies.
He explained that President Tinubu will no longer travel with huge number of officials and security aides, whether on local or international trips.
Ngelale said henceforth, the President will embark on international trips with only 20 persons while the Vice-President, Wife of the President and Wife of the Vice-President will travel with five persons each.
On local journeys, the President will be accompanied by 25 persons; Vice-President 15 persons; while both the wife of the President and wife of the Vice-President can be accompanied by 10 persons each.
For Ministers, they can only travel with 4 persons while heads of Parastatals and Agencies are now limited to 2 persons per trip.
