Ekiti State Police Command has killed two kidnappers and arrested three others.
Addressing newsmen at the office of the Rapid Respond Squad in Ado Ekiti, the State Police public Relations officer, Mr Sunday Abutu explained that the Command’s relentless effort to get the State rid of criminal elements through combing of bush led to the success.
He said operatives of the Rapid Response Squad combed Kajola Forest Reserve, Ado-Ekiti where two of the Suspected Kidnappers were killed during a gun duel between the officers and the kidnappers while three others were apprehended.
According to Mr Abutu, others escaped with bullet wounds.
Exhibits recovered from them are One AK47 rifle, Thirty seven live ammunition, Seven expended ammunition, One Tecno phone and
Military camouflage.
