The Anti-Kidnapping Unit of the Ekiti State Police Command has apprehended two suspected burglars in Ayegbaju Ekiti, Oye Local Government of Ekiti State.
The Suspects, Ayodele Kolawole a.k.a last Kobo and Asegbeosi Bamisile a.k.a KONGO both of Ayegbaju-Ekiti were apprehended for burgling an apartment in the town where they carted away items worth millions of naira.
According to police spokesperson, the complainant reported to the police when his house was burgled in January this year.
The complainant noted that the suspects alongside others now at large burgled his house in January this year and stole one HP laptop computer worth #310,000, one Cannon video camera worth #850,000, Cain cable valued #85,000, one Cannon photo camera valued #75,000, one Tecno L9 Plus phone valued #85,000, one Tecno Camon phone valued #45,000, Eat pad valued #65,000 and other valuables.
The PPRO explained that during interrogation, the suspects confessed to the commission of the crime and revealed that they were parts of a syndicate that specializes in burgling shops and residential apartments in the community.
