Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji says APC will continue to receive members of the opposition parties to its fold as means of increasing members of the party in the State.
The governor who stated this at a defection programme in Ikere Ekiti explained that such would increase the number of supporters of president Bola Tinubu during the 2027 presidential election.
Governor Oyebanji therefore used the forum to seek support for the administration of president Tinubu, saying he has done much for the state in term of infrastructure and socio Economic development.
In a remark, a former Governor of Ekiti State, Chief Ayodele Fayose promised continuous support for any member of PDP that wish to join APC to ensure success of Governor Biodun Oyebanji and president Bola Tinubu re-election bids, saying the governor had performed exceptional in all areas.
