EKiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji has signed into law the 2023 appropriation bill of #113.6billion naira as passed by the House of Assembly.
At a brief ceremony held at the Exco chamber Governor Oyebanji said government would strive to implement capital projects embedded in the 2023 budget.
The Governor said the budget was carefully crafted after consultation from stakeholders to lay a solid foundation for the development of the State.
He lauded the state House of Assembly for its cooperation adding that their support would help his administration to achieve greatness.
Earlier while Presenting the budget, Speaker of the House,Mrs Olubunmi Adelugba, said the budget proposal went through all legislative process before passage.
Mrs Adelugba promised that the house would carry out a budget tracking monitor its implementation to the fullest to ensure economic and social development of the state.
