Oyebanji signs 2022 supplementary budget.

EKiti State Governor,Mr Biodun Oyebanji has signed into law the 2022 supplementary budget of about twenty two billion naira recently passed by the house of Assembly.

At a brief ceremony held at the Exco chamber Governors Ado Ekiti, Governor Oyebanji explained that the budget would allow government to implement certain programmes for citizens as the year runs to an end.

Governor Oyebanji commended the leadership of the house for properly scrutinizing the Supplementary budget and assured members of the public that the fund would be used to meet the demands of the citizens.

Governor Oyebanji said the supplementary budget would enable his administration to meet the urgent demands of people of the state in the remaining days of the year.

He hailed the lawmakers for placing the collective interest of the state above personal interest and asked them to continue to do more for the success of the administration.

Presenting the Supplementary Budget to the Governor, the Speaker Ekiti State House of Assembly Mrs Olubunmi Adelugba explained that the bill would enable government meet some finances of government amied at making life more comfortable for citizens.

She commended the Governor for sustaining mutual trust and respect within the various arms of Government.

She said the house had resolved the recent internal crisis and pledged the support of the legislators to the success of the current administration.

The aggregate of the budgetary estimate for this year will now be N121.7 billion, as a total of N100.7billion had earlier been approved by the immediate past administration.
