Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji has approved the appointment of Chairmen and board members for 52 Government Commissions and Agencies.
In a government statement, all the Chairmen and Board Members of each Commission and agencies were listed.
One of the appointees is a retired staff of Broadcasting Service of Ekiti State BSES and a former Chairman of the State NUJ, Chief Laolu Omosilade, who returns as Chairman, Board of BSES.
Also, the immediate past Chairperson, Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, Ekiti State, Mrs Fatimah Bello has been appointed as member, Ekiti State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board.
Furthermore, the Chairman, Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN Ekiti State Chapter, Alhaji Qozeem Oladapo is now a member of the State Sports Development Trust Fund.
Already, the state Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ has congratulated the three Journalists over their appointments and also commended the state government for considering the Journalists worthy, for the various positions.
Each board is expected to be in office for the duration specified by the edict which established the board.
