Outgoing Ekiti HOS, Komolafe presents scorecard

Three hundred and twenty-six eligible temporary junior staff working in seventeen ministries and agencies in Ekiti State have been given permanent employment.

The outgoing Ekiti State Head of Service, Mr Sunday Komolafe confirmed this in Ado Ekiti while addressing newsmen as part of programmes lined up for his retirement.

Mr Komolafe also explained that fifteen disengaged staff of Ekiti State House of Assembly were reinstated while five permanent Secretaries, seven General Managers, five executive Secretaries and four Deputy Auditors-General for both the State and Local Governments were produced during his tenure as Head of Service.

The outgoing Head of Service noted that conducive environment was also provided for workers through provision of free buses, computer set and payment of palliative wage to cushion the effect of economic hardship following removal of petrol subsidy.

Mr Komolafe said all these achievements and others were made possible through the efforts of Governor Biodun Oyebanji; Deputy Governor, Chief Monisade Afuye and other government functionaries.
