Osun residents trooped out massively to vote for their choice among the candidates contesting for osun Governor’s seat for another four years.
Visits to polling units in Osun East show that women and youths were more than men who came out to vote.
Electoral officers who reluctantly answered questions from newsmen, as they were busy attending to voters said, there was no hitch in the performance of their machines.
Meanwhile, the.arrangement made by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC for the elders and physically challenged people were followed in areas visited.

Elders and physically challenged people queued with others but when the attention.of Electoral officers were drawn to this, they tried to normalize the situation but some youths and middle aged men took over the separate queue.
There were no security lapses in areas visited as security personnel were in polling units visited as armed personnel were on strategic spots while some were on patrol.
Speaking with Radio Nigeria reporters in an interview, the NSCDC Assistant Commandant General comprising, Osun , Ondo and Ekiti states, Fasir Adeyinka at unit 3 ward 1, Yemoo , Ile Ife said all went well in areas he had visited.
In an interview with newsmen shortly after he cast his vote at unit 3 ward 1, Yemoo Ile Ife, APC national secretary, Senator Iyiola Omisore said he was satisfied with the Bimodal voters Accreditation system.
Collation and counting of votes have commenced in most polling units.
