Onijan of Ijan Ekiti Joins Ancestors After 19 Years on Throne.

A traditional ruler, The Onijan of Ijan Ekiti, Oba Samuel Oyewole Fadahunsi has joined his accestors.

Oba Fadahunsi was reported to have departed the world yesterday.

Sons and Daughters of Ijan Ekiti in their comments bid the traditional ruler farewell, noting that the Kabiyesi had done his parts.

Radio Nigeria, Progress FM correspondent who visited the ancient town observed that all the ancient trees in strategic locations in the town had been cutdown, signifying the end of an era of a King in Yoruba land.

The people of Ijan Ekiti were seeing going about their normal duties while many gathered in group to discuss the demise of the Monarch.
