The leadership of Afao~Ekiti Development Council (ADC) has congratulated Chief Oladeji Fasuan on the occasion of his 90th Birthday Anniversary.
The ADC stated that the elder statesman who was born into the Ajagemo family of Afao-Ekiti on the 1st of October 1931 has contributed greatly to the development and progress of Afao Community, Ekiti state and Nigeria at large.
Chief Fasuan, an Alumnus of the prestigious Christ School , Fourah Bay college, Sieria Leone and Economic Development Institute, World Bank, Washington DC has made Afao Community proud during his service years having served in various capacities as General Manager, Permanent Secretary, Member,
Federal Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission,
Chairman Committee for Creation of Ekiti State, (May 1991 to October 1996) amongst others.
He has dedicated his life to the service of humanity at all levels. The statement noted.
The Afao Ekiti Development Council lauded his many decades of service to his community, state and the nation, saying that his commitment has not gone unnoticed and urged the younger generation to garner inspiration from such lofty example.
The ADC prayed that the Almighty God would continue to be with the Baba Ijo of St. David’s Anglican Church Afao Ekiti, Korewolu of Igede-Kingdom, Akogun of Iropora-Ekiti, the Asiwaju of Afao and the Jagunmolu of Ado Ekiti in the years to come.
