The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists NAWOJ, Ekiti state chapter has urged members of the newly inaugurated 7th Assembly in the state to prioritize the development of Women /girl child, youth and the vulnerable.
The women journalists tasked the lawmakers to ensure more significant improvement through vibrant legislative activities in their proceedings.
The NAWOJ congratulatory message to the lawmakers is contained in a statement by the Chairperson of the association ,Mrs Fatima Bello and the Secretary, Mrs Adewumi Ademiju .
“As NAWOJ congratulates the newly swearing-in 7th Assembly lawmakers on the new feat , the women journalists also celebrates the first female deputy speaker in the state , Rt Hon.Bolaji Adediwura Egbeyemi- Olagbaju of Ado constituency 2 and 5 other female lawmakers in the assembly with a charge to always uphold robust Gender developmemt in their activities.
The Ekiti NAWOJ wishes members of the House led by Rt. Hon. Adeoye Aribasoye a successful tenure.
