MINISTER PROMISES FEDERAL GOVERNMENT’S SUPPORT FOR EKITI INVESTMENT DRIVE

The Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Otunba Niyi Adebayo, has assured Ekiti State Government of the support of his Ministry in boosting the current investment drive by the Fayemi-led administration.

Otunba Adebayo gave the assurance in ABUJA while playing host to the Ekiti State Commissioner for Investment, Trade and Industry, Mr Muyiwa Olumilua.

The minister said that, as the first Governor of Ekiti State, he was not unaware of the untapped investment potentials in the State.

He noted that the peace and security, as well as the enabling environment for ease of doing business make Ekiti an ideal destination for investors.

Earlier, the Ekiti State Commissioner for Investment, Trade and Industry, Mr Muyiwa Olumilua, said he was in ABUJA to solicit the support of the Federal Government and that of the Minister in attracting Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) to the State.

Mr Olumilua intimated the minister that the present administration had put in place a proactive security architecture to guarantee safety of lives and property, thereby enhancing a stable political and business environment in Ekiti.
