As part of efforts to fulfill its mandate of serving humanity, the Lions Club International, Ekiti State University Charter, has donated bed-sheets to the Medical Centre of the Institution.
Presenting the item to the Director, Health Services, President of Lions Club, EKSU Charter, Dr. Michael Afolayan said the charter was aware of the importance of a healthy atmosphere in running a smooth academic activities hence the decision to make the Medical Centre their first point of call.
Dr. Afolayan explained that the Club would not stop in rendering services that would impart on the society.
The EKSU Charter Lions President stressed the need for well meaning individuals to join the organization as it avail people to make meaningful impact on humanity.
While receiving the bed-sheets, the Director of Health Services, Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, Dr. Gbenga Olaiya appreciated the EKSU Lions Club for prioritizing the health of the members of the institution community.
Dr. Olaiya prayed God to continue to empower the club so as to be able to touch more lives, assuring them that the medical centre would make judicious use of the bedspreads.
