
…..as Sports Commission boss, Hon Ola commends BAO over Stadium renovation
The Chairman, All Progressives Congress, Ekiti State, Hon. Sola Elesin has called on all citizens of the state to identify with and always take part in the monthly keep Fit exercise tagged, Keep Fit For BAO.
Hon Elesin stated this while speaking with newsmen at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium, Ado Ekiti, shortly after taking part in the March edition of the exercise.
The APC Chairman noted that Keep Fit exercise is always good for the mind, the body and thinking faculty, hence the need to take it seriously.

He commended the State Governor, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for appointing the Chairman of the State Sports Commission, Hon Sunday Ola, who came up with the initiative.
Hon Elesin encouraged Civil Servants, Athletes, Officials and members of the public, to continue to attend the exercise, for their benefit.

Also speaking, Chairman, Ekiti State House of Assembly Service Commission, Hon Kayode Fasakin said he was proud to identify with the initiative and commended the Sports Commission Chairman for the idea, saying it would help to improve the health of the people.
For the Special Assistant to the Governor on Special Services, Hon Gbenga Fatore, he pledged to continue to support the idea and attend, as the keep fit exercise is a simple way of maintaining good health.
The immediate past President, Association of Resident Doctors, EKSUTH, Dr Thomas Adeyemi said medical personnel came in support of the Exercise by providing free Blood Pressure Tests to participants.

Dr Adeyemi noted that Keep Fit exercise is a way of stopping several illnesses and ensuring that the body is kept in a sound condition.
In his remarks, the Chairman, Ekiti State Sports Commission, Hon Sunday Ola thanked the State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji for the opportunity to serve and he particularly appreciated the Governor for the on-going renovation of the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium, Ado Ekiti, which he noted would go a long way to revamp sports in the state.
Hon Ola thanked politicians, the medical team, civil servants, sports men and women and members of the public who attended and he enjoined them to make it a date in April.
